Our Facilities

As our full name suggests,  The Vic Club is the heart of the sporting and social scene of the village.

We have a wide range of space for you to make use of for any event. For ease,  we have set these out in a simple fashion, but we are always happy to answer your questions and offer a tour of the venue. The club has undergone a major renovation over the course of the last year, and we are confident that you will find it to be a fantastic environment to enjoy.

Guest facilities

Patio and mezzanine

At the Vic, we enjoy the largest outdoor space for miles around, with our huge patio and mezzanine seating areas allowing for peace and calm, even when the cricket teams are out there performing. Get your drinks at the bar and while away the hours with friends and family, or grab a good book and lose yourself!

Lounge bar

The larger of our two bar areas with seating for up to 80 guests, the lounge affords three large screen TVs, access to the cricket pitch and bowling green and lovely views allowing you to catch all of the action. 

Sports Bar

Home to our pool table and dart boards, along with a further two large screen TVs and seating for up to 50 guests

Function Hall

A large room with capacity dependent on your chosen room layout and type of function. We have played host to a wide variety of events including birthdays, christenings, weddings, awards ceremonies, work events and more. The room benefits from a large screen and projector, a private bar, and views across the tennis courts. 

School Room

A smaller private function room to the rear of the hall, this room can comfortably play host to approximately 60 people, depending on your chosen layout. The room benefits from direct access to the kitchen and view across the cricket pitch.

Kitchen

Our kitchen boasts a fridge freezer, deep freeze, AGA style range cooker and all of the essentials you would expect. Please note that we do not offer an in house catering provision however.

PLEASE NOTE THAT CCTV IS IN USE THROUGHOUT THE VENUE AND THE SURROUNDING PROPERTY 24 HOURS A DAY.

Sporting Facilities 

Cricket pitch

The most peaceful setting in the village! Our cricket pitch offers a lovely haven of calm at all hours of the day, and when Holmes Chapel Cricket Club take to the field you can enjoy the sporting action too if you choose. 

Bowling green

Our bowling green is the envy of many a similar venue, always kept in a fantastic state of tidiness and repair. 

Tennis courts

We offer three all-weather tennis courts, two of which are currently floodlit (and the third to be lit soon). Guests playing tennis have access to dedicated changing and toilet facilities. 

Snooker room

The snooker room offers a traditional, darkened environment for you to enjoy your matches or more relaxed games. Meters for the lights are 50p for each half hour, and the tables are regularly serviced to ensure the very best of facilities for you. 

Pool table

Situated in our informal Sports Bar, you can show your skills at 50p per play. 

Darts boards

Also situated in the Sports Bar, we benefit from two competition darts boards, both of which are spotlit.
